After recent mindblowing performances at the northern hemisphere summer festival circuits, Netsky has just dropped his new album, aptly named '2', being his second album release. It is available for sale now on iTunes.

Popular here in New Zealand, Netsky has frequently toured down under, and always talks fondly of New Zealand as being one of his favourite places. After listening to the album this morning, I found myself reminiscing of the summers gone by and ultimately pumps me for the summer to be. Puppy, one of the singles in the album made my ear lobes bounce to the liquid drum and bass goodness. To be put quite simply, watch out Summer 2012/2013.

And when asked recently, would he be returning for Rhythm and Vines for the third year running through the Festival's blog behindthevines, this was his response:

So Netsky, 10th Anniversary of Rhythm and Vines in 2012. What do you think?

I can’t see how I wouldn’t be there. I really want to be there. I hope everything sorts itself out for it to happen.

Here is hoping R&V organisers can sort it out and bring the super kid Boris back to our shores.
