The First Artist Lineup Has Been Announced For Northern Bass

It may only be June but the summer festival lineups are already starting to come in hot. First off the mark is Northern Bass. The seventh edition of the bass-heavy festival will be held across three days and three nights at its usual home in Mangawhai. 

26 artists from 60 have been announced in the festival's first lineup. Making his way across international waters to ring in the New Year will be drum and bass pioneer and RAM Records co-founder, Andy C. The Northern Bass regular is known for his spit-fire mixing and laser shows — a feat that once gained him the title, 'the most influential drum and bass DJ to ever live'.

At the top of the bill he's joined by UK hip hop/dubstep trio Foreign Beggars, graffiti artist-turned-rave producer Goldie, New York rapper Post Malone, Salmonella Dub for one of the group's first appearances with returning member Tiki Taane, UK grime artist Stormzy, and the band you couldn't have a New Year festival without, Shapeshifter.
