The Whiskey Live 2012 First Announcement

The Whiskey Live 2012 first lineup announcement is out. Featuring a mixture of old and new, there is something for everyone at this year's event, but to be clear, or maybe slightly confuse, not everything is for everyone. Which is the beauty of it all. With more still to be announced on Tuesday 1st May 2012, Ponsonby's iconic Whiskey Bar will be hosting some of New Zealand's best musical talent through out the month of May.

While not all of the acts are our cup of tea, it still excites us that an event like this can attract some of New Zealand's most sort after acts. And the reason is quite simple. It's different. The intimate environment enables you to get up close with the musicians.

The official opening night of New Zealand Music month, and featuring Jonny Toogood's side project The Adults. This should be a significant kick off to the month of May. Support from Greg Fleming & The Trains, and DJ Dan Aux.
