Overview
If you're partial to a quality soundtrack when you dine, Harbourside Ocean Bar & Grill's latest degustation may be of interest. On Saturday 9 July, the country's best known jazz musician Nathan Haines and his band will set up in the restaurant's dining room to provide entertainment alongside a four-course dinner menu.
There are two options for the event: the first-rate four-course dinner with matched wine and a prime view of Haines ($195), or a tasting platter with a glass champagne and no view ($50). The former includes dishes like pea veloute with tempura oysters, market fish with duck fat potatoes, tiger prawns and hollandaise, eye fillet with roasted vegetables, and apple tartan with white chocolate caramel and ice cream.
