National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry has spent over 10,000 hours photographing animals underwater in tropical as well as polar settings. He's lectured at Harvard and had his underwater photos published in Playboy, and his list of awards include the acclaimed title of BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
In Ocean Wild, his National Geographic Live talk, Brian Skerry will take audiences under the cloak of the blue ocean to tell the amazing stories of underwater animals around the globe. Specifically, he will tell of the times when he witnessed the very fluffy Arctic harp seal's first few days on the ice, dived with the world's most endangered whale, the right whale, and hung out with commercial fishers.
