ATTN: Ballet lovers.

Your dreams of being a ballerina may have been extinguished around the same time as hitting puberty, but years' worth of practice at the barre has left you with a marked respect and admiration for those graceful beings who float and powerfully surge themselves into the air at a moment's notice. Or maybe you just really dig ballet because it looks cool.

Whatever the cause of your love of the brilliant centuries-old dance, we'd like to send you along to watch a standout ballet show by the The Royal New Zealand Ballet (RNZB) called Salute. The four-part performance is a collaboration between the RNZB and the New Zealand Army Band to mark the centenary of World War I.

To be in the draw to watch the 1:30pm performance on Sunday, June 14 at the Bruce Mason Centre, email [email protected] with the header "SALUTE" and tell us in 25 words or less why you should go.

Salute will be performed at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna from June 13 to 14, and at the ASB Theatre from June 17 to 20. For more information visit the RNZB website.
