Thank goodness for Sydney Design, picking up where the Biennale left off in keeping our grey matter and time occupied during the cooler months. But visiting all those exhibitions, installations and workshops is hungry work, so if you're lucky enough to spot a curious wooden soup kiosk while you're out and about, make a beeline for it pronto. Popping up at various Sydney Design venues over the next month, Food for Thought are offering delicious soup to warm those cockles and do not want any of your hard-earned cash in return. Organisers Thomas Rivard and Michael Lewarne want something much more valuable – a 140 character answer to a question about Sydney Design and the specific location of the exhibit you've just seen. Food for Thought, quite literally. And once the soup is gone, your thought won't evaporate into thin air. The one-liners are gathered up and printed on cups, tweeted and projected so that future soup fans can ponder on what you had to say as they sip on that hot, good stuff. And maybe, one day, this architect and urban planner duo might help to make your suggestion a reality.
