60 Internet Seconds Around the World

The internet: to some it's a wonder of modern productivity, to others a time-suck bigger than a black-hole. It's mind-boggling to think of just how much must be going on all over the world at any given moment.

Thankfully a Shanghai web design company have pared it down to one handy infographic. Among other things, 60 internet seconds contain 694,445 Google searches, trumped by Facebook's 695,000 status updates and 510,400 comments. Over 168,000,000 emails are sent (most of them probably spam) and 370,000 minutes of calls made on Skype. 70 new domains are registered, and more than 25 hours of movies are uploaded to YouTube.

Funnily enough, it doesn't mention anything about porn.
