Many brands are now moving towards notable figures outside of their realms to promote their products. Last year Lotus enlisted Daft Punk as members of their F1 Team for the Monaco Grand Prix and now Nike have recruited Haim, Diplo, and Spike Lee among others to help promote the USA FIFA World Cup kit.

Other representatives include NFL players Andrew Luck and Ndamukong Suh, and flag-runners for the USA team Clint Dempsey and Sydney Leroux. The kit includes a pennant tab inside the collar featuring 13 red and white stripes to represent the original 13 colonies that declared independence and formed the first states.
