The most important week of the year for New Zealand fashion designers is in full swing and Concrete Playground was lucky enough to get a backstage pass to hang out with the team from label Surface too Deep, and the beautiful women wearing their swimwear.

Founded in 2010 Surface too Deep (S2D) is a print focused directional label created with lovers of sophisticated swimwear in mind. The label has gone from strength to strength over the years with their sexy swimmers gracing the pages of top rag-trade mags such as Fashion Quarterly, Remix and Russh.

Known for their unique, limited-edition prints and for bringing sexy back in the form of chic high-waisted bikini bottoms, the 'The Amazing Adventures of Bonnie and Belle' Summer '13/14 collection is bound to wow VIPs and international buyers in town for the week.

As with past collections, pieces are interchangeable so you can mix and match a signature prints with black separates and wear them your way. And with a bit of luck in the weather department, that's exactly what we'll be doing before too long. Surface too Deep's swimwear is stocked at RUBY stores nationwide, Blue Dude and Hot Body In Auckland.

Check out S2D and all the other designers showcase their collections as part of the Designer Selection Shows - a stylish snapshot of every designer showing throughout the week.
