Fashion News
From I Love Ugly Suits, G_Shock watches, Ruby, Glassons through to Peroni collaborations, we wrap up the latest in Fashion News.
This week in Fashion News, we handpick some of Number One Shoes latest winter range, head to Queenstown with Glassons, take some time out with G-Shock, suit up and rug up respectively with I Love Ugly and Ruby, and sip on a few cold Peroni's in style.
On Trend: Number One Shoes
Consider this a Public Service Announcement – because you really don't want to miss Number One Shoes' winter collection. From military-style, embellishments and baroque detail, this range draws inspiration from some of the biggest seasonal trends. Be kind to your credit card without compromising your style. We like that.
We've chosen five of our 'faves' and also have a pair to giveaway. Click here to check them out.
Glassons ESCAPES to Queenstown
We're sure we're not the only ones who think Glassons have completely UP'D THEIR GAME of late. It's always been a go-to, but there's definitely some sass in the waters lately. Could be something to do with recently appointed Creative Director, Adam Bryce.
Whatever the reason…we love their latest Winter campaign video, 'Escape', featuring Anja Konstantinova and Teresa Omen.
The campaign was styled by Zara Mirkin and shot around Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wanaka, Danseys Pass, The Blue Lake and on the road in-between.
G-Shock x SUPRA
Californian sneaker giant, SUPRA has teamed up with G-SHOCK to create this limited edition GA-200SPR, released in NZ today as part of the G-SHOCK 30th anniversary collections. SUPRA is the first collab partner ever to customize the brand new GA-200 silhouette, which comes in a stylish matte black colourway with contrasting red details.
Alongside the watch, SUPRA is releasing a matching sneaker, the G-Shock x SUPRA Vaider Lite, which is crafted from patented SUPRA materials and comes in the same matte black colourway and red details.
The SUPRA G-SHOCK 'It's About Time' watch is available at LOADED, Central Store and Amazon Surf nationwide. RRP $279.
I Love Ugly Suits Up
We're big fans of I Love Ugly at CP, and have watched with fascination as the brand grows towards world domination.
We were excited to see that the premium menswear label wants to kit you out for occasions of the fancy kind with the release of some pretty sweet suits, available in Light or Dark grey.
The description reads, "In the 1960s men dressed like men. They wore blazer jackets, used type writers, smoked cigars and drunk whiskey. We are making it easy to feel like that man from the 60s, perhaps you would have worked in advertising in a tower in New York, or written books in a country side in England." And we kinda like the sound of that. RRP $249.00
Ruby
Secretly it's quite awesome when the weather cools down…it means us girls get to get dressed up in our favourite winter warmers!
If you've always wanted to give fur a go, but can't quite bring yourself to do the real deal – we reckon you'll LOVE the new RUBY Wolfy Styles. Available in two styles, the Wolfman Coat (RRP $330) & the Wolfy Stole (RRP $109), we can't think of many better ways to rug up.
Peroni Nastro Azzuro's x Liam Coleman
Peroni Nastro Azzuro's 2013 Ambasciatori program sees creative New Zealanders working with with the Italian brand for a series of one-off design creations. Previously, Peroni Nastro Azzuro teamed up with Room 104 to restore and re-design an old barber's chair.
For its most recent collaboration Peroni invited Auckland-based menswear buyer and stylist, Liam Coleman, to apply his timeless personal style to the staple of a gentleman's wardrobe: the pocket square. If you're looking to add a dash of chivalry to your Winter look, we managed to wrangle one to give away. And if your dad neglected to teach you the art of wearing a pocket square, we've got you covered too.
