Overview
The recently launched Papershoes.com site will display their collection of covetable shoes in store at Miss Crabb, 41 Ponsonby Rd, Auckland, for five days only from Wednesday November 23 2011 until Sunday November 27 2011.
Set up by friends Amber Easby, Alexis Brooks and Helen Gould, the site offers an array of carefully selected shoes for discerning New Zealand women with the goal to make beautiful shoes you can wear, enjoy, covet and treasure more accessible.
The range includes Minnetonka moccasins in soft suede, sweet raffia flats by Rafia Chic, classic Chelsea boots from ballet footwear specialists Bloch and traditional summer espadrilles from France. Then there are clogs by Swedish Hasbeens, loafers by Bass and heels by Acrobats of God.
With an installation designed and constructed by local artist Andrew Barber, Papershoes have created a tangible representation of their online store, giving shoppers an opportunity to try on that favourite pair of shoes and experience Papershoes in real life.
Unlikely to find these shoes anywhere else, they are special, sweet and selected with a precise eye for classic design and just the right amount of quirk.
And if you can't make it down to the Miss Crabb store before Sunday, November 27 2011, you can still view and purchase the Papershoes range online at www.papershoes.com
