Sally Ridge, Nerida Cortese, Jayne Kiely, Hinewehi Mohi, Amanda Midgley and Jacinda Ardern are just some of the high profiled NZ women who are donating their own pre-loved bags and an encouraging note inside to Dress for Success, an organisation that exists to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Dress for Success rely completely on donations, so the organisers of Runway to Wardrobe, a new event running in the Fashion Pavilion of Botany Town Centre on June 13th are excited to partner with the charity to bring some much needed support & publicity to a worthwhile cause close to their hearts.

Event goers of Runway to Wardrobe are encouraged to bring along their own pre-loved handbag with a note of encouragement suited to a woman who needs a boost to the event to exchange for a fabulous goodie bag with over $50 worth of donated products inside from generous brands.

Handbags will then donated to Dress for Success charity to be given directly to the women they style in preparation for a job interview.

"Most women have a few bags they no longer use sitting in their wardrobes that would be of better use at Dress for Success!"says event organiser Sarah de Janeiro.

Coinciding with the event, one deserving NZ woman will undergo The Ultimate Styling Makeover which consists of over $5,000 worth of a complete transformation including a personal styling session with stylist to the stars, Gemma Alderdice, clothing, shoes, make-up, hair styling and jewellery from Botany Town Centre along with a final unveiling at the event as part of the show.

Full details about the Runway to Wardrobe event can be found on the Concrete Playground event listing.
