Lightbox Giveaway: Win All You Can Eat with Jess’ Underground Kitchen
All you can eat with all you can eat TV.
Spark's new streaming on demand platform, Lightbox, is New Zealand's answer to America's Netflix. The site is all about watching what you want, when you want, without the hefty fee imposed by the likes of MySky. With a pretty impressive spectrum of shows, chances are you'll find what you're after. A few of the classics are absent from the mix, but you can check out the selection of shows here before you choose to subscribe. Also, Lightbox continues to add new shows regularly, so the series menu will only continue to grow.
The highlight of the platform is the lack of ads. It's refreshing to watch a show without those distracting GIFs alongside the video encouraging you to buy a foreign bride or apply for a green card. Other high points include the lack of contract fee, so you can cancel when your wallet is feeling light, and also the free 30 day trial, where newcomers can test out the platform no strings attached. In saying that, it's not like Lightbox is going to break the budget. With up to five devices able to sign onto the same account, and two devices able to watch shows simultaneously, users can split the subscription cost between them for a relatively economic alternative to illegal streaming online.
We have been challenged by Lightbox over the past month to watch over 20 hours of Lightbox TV (check our lessons learned from Suits or our pros and cons of Orange is the New Black). Now it is your turn. Tell us your favourite Lightbox show you would like to binge watch this weekend, and we will provide you with $400 worth of delicious food from Jess' Underground Kitchen to ensure you can watch all you can eat TV while you eat all you can eat.
To enter in the draw for this prize*, comment on our Facebook post using the hashtag #lightboxing after your answer (e.g. Would love to watch Suits all weekend #lightboxing).
