Tomorrowland’s Festival Bracelets Send Friend Requests

Making festival friendship as easy as the press of a heart-shaped button.

Overview

The sold-out Belgium music festival Tomorrowland (happening later this July) is making festival friendship as easy as the press of a heart-shaped button. Their latest festival bracelet (which is also a festival and camping pass), includes a cute little heart button which, when pressed in sync with your new 'friend', sends each other an email with the other's Facebook details.

Because let's face it, making long-lasting friends or lovers in a mosh pit ain't easy. We've all had that sob story where we met the most magical person but were then suddenly split by a raging dancing crowd, or never exchanged details because a) your phone was stolen/lost; or b) your phone battery's run out; or c) shyness. And although 'lost loves' make great movies (see: Grease, Serendipity and Before Sunset), and great stories to tell your friends, you and I both know you'll never see them again.

So let's not have that happen again. Press the play button on the video below to hear details of how the bracelet works. Now to just have one of those bracelets in real day-to-day life. #Sigh
