Overview
World champion athletes, renowned dancers and acclaimed musicians don't usually all share the same stage, but when they do it's something special. That's the idea behind 360 Allstars, which combines the circus with extreme sports — all at The Civic between Wednesday, September 17–Saturday, September 30.
A hit on the international circuit, 360 Allstars has played sold-out shows everywhere from Broadway to the Sydney Opera House — and for the first time since 2016, the travelling act will be visiting Aotearoa on its 10th anniversary tour.
This is not your typical big top circus, with 360 Allstars combining breakdancers, basketball freestylers, BMX flatlanders and rappers into its performance to give the spectacular show a whole new colour and shape. The circus is where anything can happen and, in this case, anything very well might.
All of those performers will be accompanied by video projections and dazzling lighting design, as well as an enchanting live music backing track presented by award-winning musicians.
If you think you might have what it takes to join the 360 Allstars crew, audiences have the option to add a workshop to their ticket. Bust a move and learn how to break dance, or try your hand at a tricky circus skill.
360 Allstars is suitable for children aged eight and above, making it the perfect outing for the upcoming school holidays.
