Overview
A night at the Roxy is never just a night at the Roxy. We don't know if we're old-fashioned, or if it's the magical old Hollywood feel to it, but the prime Fort St location always begs for an interesting night - the recent expedition to said bar resulted in Concrete Playground finishing off by sitting atop of some inner-city scaffolding watching the sunrise, White Lady burger in land.
Point is, the ex-theatre delivers good nights. And just a week into re-opening for the new year, they're back with their semi-regular A Night at the Roxy. This Saturday some Auckland's best party starters - Dick Johnson (aka Magik Johnson), Sam Hill and Tom Gates Bowey - will be manning the decks.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Entry via the Imperial Lane cafe.
