Overview

It's important for us to celebrate Maori cultural cuisine, and while a hangi is always enjoyable, the fine dining experience using local New Zealand produce is even more delicious.

Chef Monique Fiso who is of Maori-Samoan descent has showcased her culturally-inspired dishes at the Michelin-starred Musket Room in New York City, along with her Hiakai pop-up events that are now receiving international recognition.

For Auckland Restaurant Month, Monique has been working on a menu alongside Morgan McGlone — founder of cult fried chicken hotspot Belles Hot Chicken, and chef Neil Brazier of SkyCity's The Sugar Club. A Taste of Maori Fine Dining will allow food lovers to dine at the top of the Sky Tower and enjoy the finest New Zealand flavours prepared by world class chefs.

The restaurant definitely has one of the best view points in Auckland, and what could be better than watching the sunset while enjoying a six-course meal with the finest New Zealand wines?

The $230 ticket price includes a drink on arrival and six courses with matching wines.
