Still harbouring Whip It fantasies? Lace up those skates — it's time to get groovy baby. After a massively successful couple of events this year, this 70s-themed roller rink disco is coming back to Auckland — this time with a new twist.

Returning to ActivZone in Glenfield on Friday, December 02 this time the Hey Macarena squad are throwing an ABBA-themed roller rink party, so you can sing along to bangers like 'Dancing Queen', 'Gimme Gimmme Gimme' and 'Voulez-Vous' while cruising the rink.

The evening will be split into two parts — from 7pm jam out to ABBA and classic disco bangers, then from 9pm George FM DJ Kane Spindler will be taking to the decks for more of a late-night vibe. Choose your session (or sure, opt for both if you want to make a night out of it) — tickets start at $27.29 for each. Skate hire costs $7 and its a first in, first served dealio.
