Overview

Got Friday night dinner plans, but nothing to do afterwards? You're not alone — unless you're keen to wait in a freezing cold line for the clubs, Auckland's late-night options can be lacking.

Don't worry — those in the know have a much better option. This week marks another very special instalment of After Dinner Club: a house music and cocktail party that's the brainchild of DJ Mac Mylo and Stolen Girlfriends Club co-founder Marc Moore.

The duo created the concept after noticing a gap in the market – there was nowhere to kick on after dinner with mates. This week ADC is being brought to life at Ponsonby bar Broken Lantern by whiskey brand Jonnie Walker, meaning speciality Johnnie Walker highball cocktails will be slung from the bar, including elderflower, lemon and green tea flavours.

Doors open from 9pm on Friday, May 27 and it's free entry — you just have to RSVP through the official site. And bring your dancing shoes — if previous instalments are anything to go by, it's set to be a biggie.
