Not only is Alabama Shakes a band who've kicked soul music back into the future with an insane reputation for their live performances, they've also got a name that's inherently cool.
The quartet is fronted by Brittany Howard, who at the ripe old age of 22 has already been noted for her throaty howls, and has been pinned as the next big thing. Critics everywhere have labelled their debut album Boys & Girls as one of the albums of 2012.
No wonder all of the tickets were snapped up for tonight's performance. Oh well, surely won't be long for them to return.
