Overview
R&B artist Aloe Blacc is returning to New Zealand for two shows this October. It will be the second time Blacc has been to NZ, following a sold out tour in 2011. He will bring his latest album Lift Your Spirit to life on stage, as well his number one single ‘The Man’ and the song that shot him into the limelight, ‘I Need a Dollar’.
His third album was recorded with DJ Khalil, Pharrell Williams and features surprising co-writing contributions from Elton John and Swedish DJ Avicii on the European summer anthem ‘Wake Me Up’.
Blacc will be joined for both the Auckland and Wellington shows by local producer/multi-instrumentalist, Estère, alongside her MPC affectionately dubbed ‘Lola’.
