The lead singer and composer of The Dresden Dolls, best known as Amanda Fucking Palmer, will perform at Auckland’s King’s Arms Tavern this September backed by her band the Grand Theft Orchestra.
The tour will support Palmer’s solo album which was released after she raised a whopping $1.2 million via crowdfunding site Kickstarter.com.
Never shy of controversy, Palmer most recently stripped nude to perform a specially written song slamming the British Press, a response to the negative coverage she received for a wardrobe malfunction at Glastonbury 2013.
Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra will be supported by Peter Jefferies at the Auckland show.
