Overview
Following its one-night marketplace dedicated to the delights of the Mediterranean, Victoria Park Market is preparing to visit the land of the free and home of hamburgers, fried chicken and apple pie.
The American Street Food & Beer event will take place at the historic Freemans Bay precinct on Saturday, 28 March. Love Street Food NZ has put together a lineup of Auckland vendors that would have Elvis gyrating from VPM's ancient brickwork chimney. Rolling up for the occasion will be low 'n' slow barbecue joint Smoking Cole, free-range hotdog cart Brooklyn Dogs, fried chicken and dessert pie outfit The Pie Piper, plus Jo-Bros Burgers, Ice Cream Social and Mamasdonuts.
Behemoth Brewing Company will be behind the bar pouring its USA-themed beers, including the 'Freedom' APA, 'Im-PEACH-ment' sour ale and 'Murica' APA.
