Good news for the sweet tooths in Ponsonby: Amy's Secret Kitchen is popping up for some lucky nine-to-fivers who need a sweet fix. On the menu of decadence will include a selection of cupcakes, pupcakes (for very good dogs) and biscuits.

Founded by sisters Amy and Charlotte in 2011, Amy's Secret Kitchen has a flair for the traditional, with cupcake flavours such as red velvet, chocolate, caramel and lemon. Their cake range is a collection of classics and inventive newbies, from the Lush Lemon Cake to their Devilish Pavlova and Caramel Popcorn Heaven. There are even gluten-free and dairy-free options for the pesky eaters out there.

This gem of a pop-up won't last forever; it's open everyday from now until June 3 at Ponsonby Central, just opposite Bird on a Wire. Amy's hours will be from from 9am to 5pm Monday to Wednesday and Saturday, 9am to late Thursday and Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
