Andiamo al Limoneto

Not keen on welcoming the colder weather just yet? Herne Bay hotspot Andiamo is stretching out the summer vibes a little longer with its Malfy gin pop-up this month.

Translating directly to "let's go to the lemon grove", Andiamo al Limoneto is hoping to capture the feel of Italy's southern coast — without needing to venture further than Jervois Road. A series of special Malfy G&Ts and gin cocktails are on offer throughout May, including the turquoise-hued Amalfi Coast; the sweet, sour and bitter Mediterranean Clover Club; the refreshing Sole Italiano; and a sultry twist on a classic, the Negroni Cioccolato. G&Ts start at $12 and the cocktails all come in at $20 each.

The space has been decked out in greenery and lemon trees so you'll really feel like you're in the midst of a European summer. Andiamo's classic Italian fare is on offer to line those stomachs, including pasta, pizza — and that famous mac'n'cheese. The pop-up is running until the end of May, so put it on your list for a lazy weekend afternoon ASAP.
