Overview

Spring has well and truly sprung, and Herne Bay's Andiamo is having a glass of bubbles (or two) to celebrate. On Wednesday– Sunday until the end of October, the venue is recommending upmarket bubbly Perrier-Jouët paired with Andiamo's spring-inspired set menu. The much-loved local is dressing up for the occasion too, with the restaurant decorated with spring florals to mark the return of the warmer weather.

The menu has been created by Andiamo's Executive Chef Gavin Doyle, and is made up of two courses. This includes a flute of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut to start you off — but if you're wanting to indulge, each meal comes with a champers match, or a specially priced bottle for the table.

There are two options to choose from for both your main and entrée, which knocks the concept of ordering envy on the head. For the entrée, diners can pick between the market fish crudo, as made with sashimi and citrus flavours — or the broad bean hummus bruschetta, which the team recommends if you're more hungry.

Diners also have two meals to choose from for the main course: the crispy-skinned market fish sprinkled with almonds for an extra crunch, or the bright-green parsley butter risotto with a crumb made of pancetta and sourdough. These two courses are included in the overall price of the menu, with the option to add sides for an extra $10, whether it be a salad or truffle fries.

If you still have room for dessert, round out your lunch with a tiramisu for another $10.
