Overview

The blossoms are out, the days are longer and its finally feeling more like spring — so celebrate accordingly with a champagne-soaked long lunch at Ponsonby stalwart Andiamo.

The Italian eatery has teamed up with champagne brand Perrier Jouët to welcome the warmer months with a Spring Soirée lunch series throughout the month of October. Diners can sit amongst a spring floral backdrop and scoff two delicious courses created by CP fave Gareth Stewart himself, along with a flute of champagne — all for only $65.

If you want to keep the good times rolling, you can nab a bottle of the Perrier Jouët Brut for $99.

Unlike many set lunch offerings, you get a choice in what you're eating: The Italian-inspired menu allows you to choose from the market fish crudo (with blood orange, pickled chilli and sorrel) or the bruschetta (whipped ricotta, grilled zucchini, basil) to start; before choosing between the market fish with fregola, fennel, citrus, caperberries and dill, or risotto primavera with soft herbs, pistachio, pesto and ricotta salata for your main.

We'd go fish crudo, risotto and splurge on a side of fries, but that's just us.

At each table, instead of Andiamo's signature rosemary sprigs, will be fresh flowers in pops of pink, yellow and white, to really get you in the spring spirit. Running from 12pm-3pm, Wednesday to Sunday throughout October, it's the perfect excuse to celebrate the festive season fast approaching.

Bookings are essential, so send this one to the group chat and get organising ASAP.
