Overview

In the wake of four sell-out shows, rooftop event series Anno Domini will return for a trio of gigs atop the Auckland Art Gallery this summer. The series takes its lead from rooftop events popular in New York and throughout Europe and is touted as the ultimate afternoon Sunday session, bringing together great music, food and drink.

The 2016/17 season will be kicked off on Sunday, December 11 with sets from UK DJ Ben UFO— a man known for his bent towards experimental electronica— plus Melbourne dance heavyweight Tornado Wallace. Sunday, January 8 will see producer Theo Parrish and Australia's 'First Lady of Disco' CC:DISCO! set up on the gallery's East Terrace. The closing event on Sunday, March 12 promises Leeds house producer Midland and the selector often referred to as a 'DJ's DJ', Gerd Janson.

Each Anno Domini event will come with an all-star cast of local support acts including K2K, Tim Richards, Friendly Potential DJs, Becky and Minder.
