Anno Domini
The rooftop event series returns for its fourth outing this summer.
Overview
Following three sell-out seasons, rooftop event series Anno Domini will return for its fourth outing this summer. Taking place atop Auckland Art Gallery, the series takes its lead from rooftop events popular in New York and Europe — it's touted as the ultimate afternoon Sunday session, bringing together great music, food and drink.
Kicking off the 2018/19 edition will be one of dance music's biggest breakthrough artists of the last few years. Newcastle's Mall Grab will lead the lineup on the gallery's East Terrace on Sunday, 16 December. His music has been described as "mildly celestial 'hella stoned' introspections that pay homage to old Three 6 Mafia mixtapes as much as more recent astral experiences in house and techno." He will be joined by label mate Nite Fleit.
The rest of the 2018/19 Anno Domini lineup includes a DJ set from English electronic musician and neuroscientist Floating Points on Sunday, 3 February, and Russian DJ Nina Kraviz with Berlin producer Valentino Mora on Sunday, 17 February. Register here to be first in the know about tickets.
