Overview
Unless you’re an Australian or an avid supporter, you probably assumed that Danish euro-pop group Aqua had hung up their microphones along time ago. Well, they didn’t, and they’re playing one show in Auckland.
After becoming a household name across the globe with 'Barbie Girl' in 1997, the group released their second album, picked up a lawsuit claiming that they damaged the reputation of the Barbie brand, had some inter-member relationship issues and took a break. After each member had a go at releasing solo material, including Lazyboy’s ‘Underwear Goes Inside the Pants’, they came back fired up and released their third album Megalomania, performing 11 sold-out shows throughout Australia in the process.
