Art in the Park

Overview

Month-long festival of arts, eats and beats Elemental AKL returns from 14 July to 1 August, this time with a suite of free and ticketed events in eateries, bars, theatres, stadiums and public spaces across Tāmaki Makaurau.

Art in the Park will make its debut as part of Elemental AKL 2021. The new art show will exhibit established and emerging New Zealand artists at Eden Park. As well as experiencing original paintings, sculptures, photography, prints, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the 118-year-old stadium via free highlight tours.

Tickets to the opening night include food and drink, the opportunity to meet the artists and access to works before anyone else over the long weekend. Earlybird $15 tickets are also available.

Art in the Park was developed by Sofija Matich and Cary Cochrane to offer a new platform for New Zealand artists. The event will be held in The Grand Hall overlooking the iconic Eden Park pitch from 23–25 July.
