Overview

Run by Denny Design and Rawhiti Selflove, Art Yoga is a project based on "an artistic and meditational path that incorporates colours and music to guide you towards a deep reflection and discovery of yourself."

The koha class, which is running as part of Artweek Auckland, will see participants focus on the creative process of making intuitive art to explore feelings and thoughts. Participants are encouraged to let their imagination to run wild, switch off any negative influences and embrace their inner creative voice. No artist knowledge or skills are required, although booking is essential via [email protected].

The tenth edition of Artweek Auckland returns between 10–18 October to celebrate our city's diverse artistic community. Featuring exhibitions, happenings and workshops across ten precincts, each area aims to highlight its unique place in Auckland's artistic landscape. This year's eight-day celebration is packed with over 50 late-night events, free guided tours, drawing clubs, exhibitions and beverage tastings for art aficionados.
