Auckland Art Fair

Overview

Auckland's premier waterfront venue The Cloud will soon be awash with the varied and fascinating works by emerging artists from New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Rim. This is the Auckland Art Fair, New Zealand's largest single art exhibition and a showcase of Kiwi artists' unconventional creativity. All manner of works will be on display including sculpture, painting, drawing, video and multimedia; with the aim of encouraging involvement, understanding and appreciation of contemporary art in New Zealand.

Nine local not-for-profit art centres from around Auckland will also exhibit at the fair, selling prints and original work for between $100 to $2000 in an effort to raise money to continue fostering talented local artists and showcasing their work to the world. So pop along to The Cloud, purchase some art to snazz up your home, or just wander around and enjoy the spectacle at this resplendent celebration of the talented artists in our little corner of the world.
