Ok, first things first, I haven't just put this event up because we couldn't find anything that is happening on Monday December 12 2011. I have put this event up because we are an online culture guide. And what is more cultural than the 150 year old tradition of the Auckland Choral's performance of Handel's Messiah.
Top international soloists including the world famous tenor Keith Lewis, joined by choir and led by the baton of British conductor Brian Kay. The Christmas season is officially kicked off (although a lot of people have already jumped the gun) at the beautiful Auckland Town Hall. Why not come hear some of the greatest music of all time, telling one the greatest stories of all time?
