Overview

Love doesn’t make the world go round; no one believes that corny claptrap. Neither does money; a 10 dollar bill won’t warm you on a frosty July morning, or sap the misery out of your gruelling monday commute. Nope, coffee keeps the globe spinning, the wheels of industry turning. It keeps us happy, functional and inspires you to hold off on the beers until a reasonable hour and do some actual work.

So let us thank the merciful lord of arabica, that our favourite brown bean is finally getting its moment in the sunshine at the upcoming Auckland Coffee Festival. One of Auckland’s premier event spaces, Shed 10, will come alive with coffee, in all of its beautiful and invigorating, shapes and sizes. There will also be a plethora of foodstalls serving up delicious accompaniments to java, as well as live, local music to keep the atmosphere festive and the coffee fiends buzzing. There’s a morning session from 9am to 12pm, an afternoon session from 1pm to 4pm and an evening session from 5pm to 8pm, so take the time to pop down, enjoy a cup of joe and help celebrate Auckland’s unique and vibrant coffee culture.
