Overview

Auckland Colour Festival Holi is returning this month. On Saturday, 9 March the lively and vibrant Indian festival is making its way to Mount Smart Stadium from 11.30am-7.30pm.

Holi is on the full moon day (Purnima) of Falgun month of the Hindu calendar and celebrated every year. The festival marks the victory of good over evil and also the beginning of spring.

The event will feature some of NZ's best DJs with the setlist soon to come to their Facebook page. With thousands expected at the event, it is best to arrive early and make use of public transport.

The radiant event will sell colours on-site for $5 per 100mg bag of chalk.

The event is family-friendly and all are welcome to celebrate. Vendors will be onsite, therefore outside food and water isn't allowed, along with colours. The event is for all ages to enjoy, therefore, it is alcohol-free.

There is no better way to celebrate love along with the start of spring than frolicking in a parade of rich colours and amazing traditions.
