Overview

International culture is what makes New Zealand so great. Global cuisines take our food scene to the next level and diversity makes our city more interesting and innovative. The Auckland International Cultural Festival is a chance to celebrate all the diversity that makes Auckland what it is. For one day at Mt Roskill War Memorial Park, treat your tastebuds to the flavours of the world with food stalls peddling everything from Chilean completos to Ethiopian black coffee and Japanese takoyaki.

Check out the cultural zones where traditional dance, ceremonies and fashion are showcased. Indonesian kebyar dances, French pastry making, Thai songkran ceremonies and African fashion are just a few of the intriguing cultural spectacles you can expect to see here. There's also four main stages where you can witness the music dance and entertainment of the world, and an active zone where you can try your hands at taekwon-do or Gaelic football.

Oh, and did we mention it's completely free?
