International highlights include prizewinners Jeffrey Eugenides, Roddy Doyle and Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings along with bestselling international crime writer Peter James, cosmologist Lawrence Krauss and spy fiction author Dame Stella Rimington. This year Maurice Gee will be joined by other New Zealand talent including Dame Anne Salmond, Dame Fiona Kidman, Witi Ihimaera, Emily Perkins, Anthony McCarten, Brian Boyd, Ian Wedde and the comedian Rhys Darby.
