Overview

Zines, the bastard children of magazines and scrapbooks, are taking over Auckland city on Saturday July 12. Over fifty stalls of independently-published zines will be filling up the Old Folks Association with literary and visual goodness.

Publications include a self-titled number from West Auckland illustrator Adam Tan (pictured above), The Comicbook Factory - a which acts as a micro-press publishing house for comics, cartoons and animation, Ducklingmonster which looks like an inky accidental Rorschach test, and What We Loved Was Not Enough - a zine of the dark comedy persuasion.
