Auckland Zoo Beginner’s Photography Workshop

Overview

So, playing with the filters on Instagram is no longer enough to satiate your highly artistic soul and you’ve decided to purchase an ostentatiously awesome camera to look like the real deal. Auckland Zoo understands your urge to look the part and your anguish-laden lack of know-how, so have kindly decided to host a Beginner’s Photography Workshop so you can figure out how to turn the damn flash off, amongst other things.

The one-day course promises to teach all of the basics of your camera and how to take your photography beyond automatic modes, all while wandering the zoo and taking snaps of your fave wild things. The intimate group sessions are hosted by two expert photography tutors, who guarantee to pass on their near-infinite knowledge of great photos and all that jazz, and all you need to bring is your camera, manual and some sweet walking shoes.
