Overview

Wellington metal band Beastwars will take a break from the studio to unleash fury on the country’s main centres in October. Over the four-date jaunt they will be joined by American psychedelic doom-metal band Windhand, who are currently co-headlining the annual Doomsday Festival across the Tasman.

Beastwars are currently working on the follow up to their 2013 released second album Blood Becomes Fire. The album received well deserved praise from local press and gained nominations at the 2013 NZ Music Awards for Best Rock Album and Best Album Artwork.

Windhand's latest record 'Soma' was ranked third in Rolling Stone's 20 best heavy metal albums of 2013. They’ve spent the better part of the year supporting the album throughout Europe.
