Overview

Fresh from playing Splendour In The Grass festival in Byron Bay, Devonshire musician Ben Howard will play two shows in Auckland.

After releasing three EPs off his own bat, Howard penned a record deal with Mumford & Sons keyboardist Ben Lovett's label, Communion, to release his self-recorded his debut album. Every Kingdom went on to achieve platinum status, win two Brit awards and gain a nomination for the 2012 Mercury Prize. His signature percussive acoustic style, laid-back nature and ability to hang ten has attracted a dedicated following among the worldwide surfing community, and inevitable comparisons to Jack Johnson.

Howard’s anticipated second record has been confirmed for later this year with a new single on the horizon.
