Overview

On Saturday 9 April the ultimate walkies will take place in Auckland, Wellington and, that's right doggies, this event is international, Japan will be synchronising their dog walking too.

Treats in the fanny pack, lead in hand and paws on grass, the Auckland walkers will be meeting at Waiatarua Reserve at 10am. From there they take off on a brisk, but not too hard going, 4km route. Along the way keeping eyes peeled for goodies, interesting surprises and no doubt plenty of dog banter to go along with it all. However if you're four-legged-friendless, there's no need to fret, the Big Dog Walk with Lots of Dogs wants every dog lover there, doggie or not.

Besides embracing this dream-worthy experience of being surrounded by hundreds of canine companions, the team at Big Dog Walk with Lots of Dogs will be shaking the kiti for gold coin donations for the wonderful people at Chained Dogs Awareness.
