Overview

Kiwi chamber orchestra Blackbird Ensemble has announce its latest musical offering to the masses; a show in honour of Bjork. In what will be a homage to the Icelandic pop juggernaut, the group will present a reimagined set of her most iconic songs. With reworked tracks from albums Debut to Vulnicura, the show will not just be an ode to Bjork, but a sonic love letter to music itself.

Formed in 2010 by Claire Cowan, Blackbird Ensemble brings musicians together from a range of disciplines to reimagine the work of some of music's most prolific artists. The lineup this time includes Australian indie artist Sarah Belkner, local singer-songwriter Anna Coddington, emerging soul singer Teeks and Blackbird favourite Jessie Cassin.

With four shows at the beginning of November only, these are ones not to miss.
