Overview
The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's third visit to New Zealand is promised to be a "strobe-lit and dry ice-heavy show", as well as being introspective and thoughtful. Intrigued?
The San Franciscan trio will play Auckland's Powerstation on November 20 in support of their sixth album Specter at the Feast, which was written after bassist Robert Been lost his father - who also doubled as the band's sound engineer. The album was recorded at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 and was released alongside a six-part short film series.
The band are best known for their garage rock/neo-psychedelia sound and were named after Marlon Brando's motorcycle gang in the 1953 film The Wild One.
