Overview

The summer's most fabulous sporting event, the NZ Polo Open returns for its 43rd year on Saturday, February 22. While the world's finest polo players compete for one of New Zealand's oldest polo trophies on the field, this event is most definitely known for its activity off the pitch too. A myriad of options are available in every price point.

General admission tickets will enable attendees to bring their own picnic and chairs and find a spot on the famous 'Polo Hill' over-looking all the excitement on the field, or find a spot on the Chukka Lawn closer to the action with delicious food truck cuisine available for purchase from The Polo Village.

If you fancy field-side fun then The Rekorderlig VIP Mallets & Ponies Club offers music, complimentary drinks on arrival and delicious nibbles with only a white picket fence separating you from the action from 10.30am to 3pm. These tickets also include access to the official George FM after party.

If you really want to treat yourself and enjoy the combo of champagne and polo, for the first time, Veuve Clicquot is offering tickets to the Veuve Clicquot Marquee. Tickets include champagne and canapés throughout the day, entertainment and a fieldside view of the action. The marquee this year is inspired by fashion muses Barbara Brinsley and Louise Hilsz so attendees are encouraged to dress to impress.

There will be a return bus transport from Britomart available for purchase, as well as a special coach which will be heading from the Clevedon to Six60 at Western Springs for those with a full social calendar.
