Overview

One of the most celebrated acts to emerge out of Europe, Booka Shade (Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier), are bringing their refined electronica beats to the Powerstation in Auckland.

The Berlin-based duo have honed their sound over the past two decades, bringing beats rich in melody and catchy, driving rhythms to audiences across the world.

Together they have released five studio albums, with their latest Galvany Street (2017) marking their return to their punchy pop sound. They also have a lengthy list of accolades, from best live act and best album awards, with their singles featured in everything from BBC Radio 1 essential mixes to CSI soundtracks.
