If you haven't made New Yar's Eve plans yet and you've started to panic that you're running out of time, don't worry — you don't need to join the hordes of people exiting Tāmaki Makaurau to see in 2023 in style. Does bottomless Mumm champagne on Auckland's waterfront sound like your idea of a good time? Yeah, we thought so.

Luckily, Viaduct rooftop bar Dr Rudi's has come to the party (literally) — it's holding a New Year's Eve shindig dedicated to champagne (and lots of it). Bubbles on the Balcony is a cocktail party that comprises of two and a half hours of Mumm champagne, as well as as many tap beers as you can sink. To line those tums, roaming canapes and shared platters will be on offer — and best of all, you can gaze down on the revellers on the city streets and feel better than everybody.

There is a caveat — the bottomless sessions are time-capped at 90 minutes each. You can book in from 6p-8.30pm or 9 – 11.30pm for $249 per person. That means you'll be hustling to get your money's worth — but we believe in you. Book your slot now and spend NYE in style, baby.
