Overview

Multi-million dollar development Catalina Bay is scheduled to open in a former RNZ Air Force hanger at Hobsonville Point this year. The waterfront location is already being touted as "the new weekend destination for Aucklanders" with several dining options planned to sit directly over the water and the first New Zealand opening from popular Fremantle craft brewery Little Creatures.

While the ribbon isn't scheduled to be cut on the development until late 2018, locals will get a taste of the brewery at the neighbourhood's next night market on Thursday 17 May. The next edition of the Catalina Bay farmers' market will include a Little Creatures pop-up bar peddling all of the brewery's crafty favourites.

The night on the wharf will also feature Morepork BBQ, Napoli Central, Lalele Organic Gelato, Olas Latin Food, Hey Bagel, Catalina Bay Dumplings, Manna Sushi, plus live music and a bouncy castle.
